MEET OUR FOUNDER
Simply Wired founder Brian Carr has more than 25 years of electrical and networking experience. What began as a hobby as a teen blossomed into a profession when at the young age of 18 he accepted his first professional job as an electrical apprentice wiring residential homes. Since then, Brian has built a life-long career in residential and commercial wiring, technology and computer networking, and has gained vast experience with every aspect of the connected home, including security systems, voice control, Wi-Fi, automation, lighting, cable, phone systems and much more.
Experienced
Brian has worked his way up from an electrical apprentice and later a foreman - where he ran crews on high-end residential and commercial/industrial sites - to launching his own business. He continues to immerse himself in the latest education and industry trends so that he may transfer his knowledge on to his clients.
Certified
Brian has earned numerous certifications including CompTIA A+ and Cisco Networking Basics and is licensed in the State of California as a C-7 Low Voltage Systems electrician (License # 1038322).
